The Indigo Kids have nothing to do with Japan 2009 as far as I know. The name soulclipse being associated with this festival is a misnomer (that facebook group has confused many people). |

what's updated about it? I don't see an english version and what i can read of the Japanese version of the line up doesn't quite exite me... |

Thanks for the translation post but I'm still unclear. That first sentence seems to imply that info about the actual 2009 party will be announced in the future?
So is this ticket sales for the countdown party this year or the actual festival next year? I know a lot of people have been confusing these two events. Especially the fact that the countdown party is only 2 days, July 19-21 2008, but the actual festival is supposedly 7. Since those presales end July 18th, I'm still thinking this is for the countdown party (July 19th), not the festival. |

So the japanese is 1 year ahead of us ?
At the page it clearly says, implementet in the logo "Eclipse 2009" and also on the header of the page... I too find it abit weird, and also think the line-up is pretty "unknown" having little knowledge about japanese music.

It's not clear at all...these presale tickets end on 7/18, and the countdown party is 7/19-7/21 (2008), which leads one to believe these tickets are for the countdown party, not the festival. Why would presale tickets for the festival end more than a year in advance?
That translation is pretty much gibberish anyway. |

Exactly, all the pages on the site (for example the 'artists' page) begin the same way with 'Countdown 2008' as the title and '2009 year future announcement' beneath it. Which, to me, implies that info about the actual 2009 festival will be announced in the future.
I've sent the link to friends in Japan for clarification, but I believe this new info all pertains to the countdown party this summer (their second I think, as they had another countdown party last year in 2007 as well). The amount of confusion this 2008 countdown party is causing on non-japanese websites around the internet is actually pretty hilarious. I hope they get their english version site up soon.  |
