11. WALDFRIEDEN WONDERLAND OPEN AIR DANCE FESTIVAL
INTERNATIONAL TRANCE DANCE FESTIVAL IN A FAIRYTALE FOREST
About 40km from Osnabrück in North Germany, is a small village called Wehdem in Stemwede, which has been firmly marked on the map due to the events happening at the remote and beautiful country location of Waldfrieden, translating in English to 'Forest Peace'. For the last decade celebrating party goers have made this place their own at regular 'Planet Waldfrieden' parties and once every year in the month of August, Wonderland Festival happens.
Waldfrieden is probably the most established trance venue in Germany holding regular parties at the Waldfrieden Club. There are also Waldfrieden-On-Tour parties in some of the bigger locations around Germany and not forgeting Germanys best kept secret, the famous Wonderland Festival which is now in its 12 th year of blasting! Situtated in the Forest of Stemwede on the other side of Germany to all the other festivals, the Waldfrieden location is a must to visit.
